How to pay your rent

By direct debit:

 

  • The easiest way to pay. Ask at the office for a direct debit form and return it to us.

 

By standing order:

 

  • If you would like to pay by standing order, please ask at the office for a form and complete it and take it to your bank.

 

By credit card:

 

  • You can pay by debit card or credit card. Telephone the credit card hotline on 020 8937 1717 between 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday.

 

By online:

 

 

At pay point:

 

  • You can pay at convenience stores, newsagent, supermarket and services stations, were you see the paypoint sign. You must use the slip with the pay point symbol and code in your rent book. Pay point agents only except cash.

 

At the office point:

 

  • By taking your pay point card to any post office. You can pay with cash, by cheque, or with your debit/credit card. Please make any cheque payable to post office counters limited and write your rent payment reference number on the back of your cheque.

 

At a bank or building society:

 

  • Fill in your rent payment slip and take it along with your payment to a bank and building society. If you are paying by cheque, make it payable to London Borough of Brent. If you pay at your own bank or building society or any branch of Natwest bank, you will not have to pay a charge.

 

By giro bank transfer:

 

  • If you have a Girobank account, fill in a payment slip and send it to Girobank plc, Bootle, Merseyside, GIR OAA. You must put your Girobank account number on the back of the slip.

 

By post:

 

  • You can send your payment slip with a cheque to Brent Housing Partership, Rent and Accounting, Chancel House, Neasden Lane, London, NW10 2UF. Please write your account number on the back of the the cheque, and make your cheque payable to the London Borough of Brent.

 

Town hall:

 

  • You can pay at the cashier's office at Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane, Wembley, Middlesex. The offices are open to Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Here you can pay be cash, switch, credit card, or cheque.
