Repairs

The Co-op has its own in-house responsive repairs services and all repairs are undertaken by the Co-op in-house maintenance officer. In circumstances where the Co-op is not able to carry out day to day repairs in-house, these are directed to various contractors.

 

Residents should report repairs by contacting the reception at Kilburn Square; all repairs will be logged and monitored for completion within an appropriate time period.

 

Residents can telephone the Co-op offices for the following type of repairs: Carpentry, Plumbing, Heating, Electrical and Glazing.

 

Some repairs may fall under an insurance claim category, in this respect the Co- op urge all residents to take out insurance cover; details of this can be obtained from the Co-op offices.

 

There are of course some repairs which are not the responsibility of the Co-op. A full list has been provided in the tenants responsibility section.

 

The Co-op will check all repairs to ensure that it is a TMO responsibility. If this is not a TMO repair responsibility, the resident will be advised with information on how to get this done.

 

The Co-op wish to offer the best response service in the borough and as such we are looking to upgrade the way residents report a repair. We will adopt the repairs booklet on line and by handing a copy to each resident. This will allow for accurate reporting of a repair.
